Staged Reading of Tom Andes’ Latest Musical, “Color Blind”
You won’t want to miss “Color Blind,” an original musical about a struggling art professor who has lost his ability to see color. “Color Blind,” which will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 18 in the Historic Senior Hall Recital Hall, is written by Stephens’ Tom Andes, directed by Lamby Hedge and narrated by Rob Doyen. The cast features performances by several of our gifted theatre students. Admission is free, but seats are limited so please arrive early. This production contains adult content and is not suitable for children.

Stephens senior Mary Kate Fahy, riding Life is a Cabernet (aka "Rudy"), and junior Lauren Fitzpatrick, riding Callaway's Golden Wonder (aka "Happy!") won blue ribbons at the annual Winter Fun Show at William Woods University. Congrats to both of you!

Commencement Reminders
Attention: May Graduates! Commencement (Saturday, May 5) will be here before you know it! Be sure to order your cap and gown (and hood, for graduate students) from The Bookshelf at (573) 876-7295 or [email protected]) by Monday, April 2. If you own your own cap and gown, you must be sure we know, no later than April 2, that you are participating in Commencement. In addition, announcements may be ordered at any time at CBgrad.com. Each graduate participating in the Undergraduate ceremony is allowed seven tickets, which should be picked up and signed for in the Vice President for Academic Affairs office (LRW 339) by Monday, April 23. No tickets are required for the Graduate ceremony.

Both fashion and art fall prey to the gaze of the viewer. Both are open to interpretation. "Parallel Views: Juxtapositions of Art, Fashion, Time and Place" is set up to give the patron a chance to see items of dress from the Stephens College Costume Museum and Research Library paired with selected pieces from the Stephens Fine Arts Collection.
