Experience Stephens
Among the activities during “Experience Stephens,” our weekend-long preview event held on Nov. 5-6, was an academic programs and organizations fair in the Kimball Ballroom of LRW. More than 140 prospective students and their families attended.

Discovery Show Results
A Stephens team of Equestrian students and College-owned horses competed at the Discovery Show from Oct. 23-24 at the Boone County Fairgrounds. Show results were as follows:

- Morgan English Pleasure Elsie Viera and “Barron,” 1st Place

Free Trial Membership
The Health Connection (located in the basement of Hillcrest Hall) is offering a free one-week trial membership to non-members all this week in honor of its 20th anniversary. In addition, daily raffles will be held for gift cards, gift baskets, membership, massages and more! Marshall Lecture Series: “Protocol for Communications"
5 p.m., Nov. 17; Kimball Ballroom of LRW
Ambassador Mary Mel French ’58, former chief of protocol, will be the inaugural Marshall Lecture Series speaker. Drawing from her personal experience during the Clinton administration, Ambassador French will share insights into protocol at the international, national and state level. She is the author of the new book “United States Protocol: The Guide to Official Diplomatic Etiquette.” The forum will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Stephens College Hunt Seat Invitational
Nov. 18-20; Stephens Equestrian Center
The International Hunt Seat competition, sponsored by the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA), will place an eight-member Stephens team against a Team Morgan team. Both teams will hold practices on Nov. 18-19. The competition will take place on Nov. 20 from 9 a.m.-noon and 2:30-5 p.m.

Slavery Discussion

Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend a discussion about slavery in Missouri with Deb Hume from the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition.
