Judging Team
From Oct. 13-16, four girls on the Stephens College Equine Judging Team competed at the Youth Morgan Horse Judging Contest in Oklahoma City, Okla. They are Anniessa Wray, Elsie Viera, Kim Ratliff and Molly Mellinger. Michelle Schultz was the alternate, and Karen Craighead was the team advisor. For this competition, the team judged eight classes, four halter and four performance or riding classes. The, the team placed each class and gave oral reasons on four of the eight classes. They were judged on how they placed each class and their reasons for placing the class in the order they did. The oral reasons were out of 50 points, and the team members were judged individually on their appearance, presentation and accuracy. The team placed 8th out of 12 total teams. This is the first official Equine Judging Team the school has had. The girls have devoted countless hours to practices and found it to be very rewarding!

Events
All My Sons
7:30 p.m., Oct.29–30; Macklanburg Playhouse
One of the greatest American dramas! This impressive play received the Drama Critics Award and helped to establish Arthur Miller among the first post-war playwrights. The Keller family is the center of this story that focuses on the father, Joe Keller, and the shop he ran to produce airplane parts during World War II . To tell much more about the plot of this play would destroy the electrifying conclusion, but an evening spent witnessing an Arthur Miller play is always a gift to any theatre-goer.
