Garage Sale Recap
This fall’s Stephens College garage sale raised $3,250 for Wellness Week 2011. The money will be used to pay for promoting the event, speakers, attendance prizes, T-shirts, educational literature and the logo contest award. Wellness Week will be held March 21-25, the week before spring break. Dixie Barnes, Health Services Administrative Assistant, says that she would like to see the garage sale become bigger and better every year and to also provide assistance to the many different departments and ideas they have for making Stephens even better. The garage sale does not require many hours of labor but many students and organizations in the community are willing to get involved with the event as well as donate items for the sale.

Macklanburg Playhouse
One of the greatest American dramas! This impressive play received the Drama Critics Award and helped to establish Arthur Miller among the first post-war playwrights. The Keller family is the center of this story that focuses on the father, Joe Keller, and the shop he ran to produce airplane parts during World War II . To tell much more about the plot of this play would destroy the electrifying conclusion, but an evening spent witnessing an Arthur Miller play is always a gift to any theatre-goer.
