New Warehouse Blog

The Warehouse Theatre Company has entered the blogosphere with their own blog. Check it out here and remember the first show, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, starts Wednesday.

Hope to see everyone there!

Visiting Poet
The English/Creative Writing department is hosting a reading by poet Elizabeth Bradfield on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Penthouse. She will be reading from her new book “Approaching Ice,” a finalist for the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets.

"This collection portrays the gripping history of polar exploration by channeling its most notable figures. .  . . From their perspective and her own, Elizabeth Bradfield relays the wonders and dangers, physical and mental, encountered while endeavoring to reach the earth's least hospitable regions" (Persea Books 2010).

"An exquisite investigation into why we explore. I loved it" (Kim Heacox, author of “Shackleton: The Antartic Challenge”).

Elizabeth Bradfield received her MFA in poetry from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, where she lived for five years. She now lives in Cape Cod and works as a poet, naturalist and web designer.

All are welcome to join us for the reading, booksigning, and refreshments!
