Pit ribbon cutting
Pit Ribbon Cutting
Stephens professor Lee Ann Fields and her Interior Design students recently remodeled “the Pit” in Stamper Commons with brightly colored new carpeting and reupholstered seating.  A ribbon cutting was held last week to celebrate all their hard work.

Thanks for your efforts, ladies!

Fashion Trend Presentation
Please join the School of Design and Fashion in welcoming Basia Szkutnicka from the London College of Fashion. Basia will give a fashion trend presentation and an overview of the London College of Fashion on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. in Charter's Lecture Hall.  Any student interested studying abroad at the London College of Fashion or who wants to learn more about what is up and coming in fashion should attend. Fashion designers such as Hussein Chalayan, John Galliano, Stella McCartney, Katharine Hamnet and Alexander McQueen have a rich history with the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins.

This is a great opportunity for the entire campus. For more information, please contact Kelly Lasiter at ext. 4233. Leadership points are available.

—Monica McMurry, Dean of Design and Fashion
