Visiting Artist
This semester, Tawanda Chabikwa is the World Dance guest artist at Stephens. A native of Zimbabwe, he is an artist, dancer and author of Baobabs in Heaven, a work of fiction based on the realities of his home country. Read more.

Check Presentation
On Feb. 17, President Dianne Lynch presented a check for $1 million to key organizers of Stephens’ four-month long Health and Wellness Challenge. An anonymous donor pledged $1 million to Stephens if faculty and staff lost collectively 250 pounds by Jan. 1. Read more.

(Washington, D.C.).

Roblee Endowed Lecture by Author Kelsey Timmerman

Author and world traveler Kelsey Timmerman will speak about globalization, poverty and its close relationship to the garment industry. Timmerman is the author of “Where Am I Wearing?” a chronicle of his worldwide journey to find out how American clothing is made.
