Graduate, Online & Non-Credit Programs Adjunct Faculty Hiring Guidelines
The Stephens College Graduate, Online & Non-Credit Programs division depends on academically credentialed and professionally experienced adjuncts to build and sustain our quality degree programs. As our programs are in a state of growth, we continually accept applications from qualified adjuncts who have the appropriate academic and professional background and teaching experience. A doctorate in a related field is preferred. A minimum of a MBA for business courses is required. Online adjuncts may reside anywhere in the United States. Columbia campus adjuncts need to live within driving distance of Columbia.
If you believe you are an exceptional, dedicated, challenging teacher and would like to be considered for possible openings, please submit your application either online or to the Human Resource office. Before final hiring, you will be required to provide official transcripts from all previous college work as well as complete all required human resource documents. Those selected to teach online courses will be required to complete our training program prior to being assigned a course.
