The Office of Marketing & Communications seeks a full-time Marketing Strategist, reporting to the VP and responsible for defining and promoting the Stephens brand in a multi-channel environment. The Marketing Strategist will engage in market research and analysis; create and sustain an integrated communications and marketing program that supports the college’s mission and strategic plan; collaborate with campus departments; and develop content and coordinate marketing materials for print, web and video.
The position involves working with internal and external constituencies, primarily in conjunction with the Admissions and Philanthropy offices to create and implement marketing plans to guide our recruitment and fundraising efforts. The candidate will work closely with the Digital Media Manager to implement and analyze online marketing strategies, and work on strategic initiatives in media and public relations, social media, publications, website development, video production and advertising.
Qualifications: a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is required. Higher education or agency background preferred. Candidates must have experience in project management and market research and analysis; proven analytical and creative ability to target messages to key audiences; and a thorough understanding of current marketing trends and communication tools. The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented; a problem-solver able to handle multiple projects on deadline; and a strong writer and communicator, with solid relationship-building skills.
