Assistant/Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology
Stephens College is seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member to lead the Department of Psychology as it expands its curriculum through the development of new programs and interdisciplinary partnerships with other departments. The successful candidate will also teach, advise students, and conduct research. We are seeking a colleague who can demonstrate a successful track record of working collaboratively with department colleagues and other departments to ensure program quality and plan for incremental growth consistent with the college mission and strategic plan. Rank commensurate with academic and/or professional experience.
Requirements:
- Doctorate in relevant field
- Experience teaching at the college level highly desirable
- Counseling experience a plus
The Department of Psychology currently offers the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling that prepares students for LPC, MFT licensing and School Counseling certification. A School Psychological Examiners Certification will be available January 2012.
