New Program! 

The Master in Management of Health Information program is designed to instruct students in leading staff and managing all aspects of electronic health information with an emphasis on strategic leadership. 

*The MMHI program is currently in development and is subject to change*

Program Highlights

  • Courses delivered primarily online; one campus visit required
  • Curriculum focuses on the theoretical foundations, contemporary readings and practical development of leadership.
  • Eight-week accelerated sessions; five sessions per year

Tenative Degree Requirements
Requires 36 hours of coursework which includes a campus component.

  • 15 hours of business core course work
  • 15 hours of health information courses
  • 3 hours of elective course work
  • 3 hours Strategic Project

Admissions Process
Stephens accepts applications for admission on a rolling basis.  Students may begin their coursework in fall, spring or summer terms.  Please see details regarding the application process and complete admission requirements in our catalog or apply now.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition is billed by the credit hour.  Stephens researches tuition rates among peer institutions each year to remain competitive.  See current Tuition and Fees.

Accreditation
Stephens College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of North Central Association. The college is currently pursuing CAHIIM accreditation for the Master in Management of Health Information. Stephens’  Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration was one of the first distance programs accredited by CAHIIM (formerly AHIMA) and still holds that accreditation.
