MBA Fellowship Program
Available to Stephens College Residential Students
A limited number of MBA fellowships will be awarded to recent graduates of a Stephens College residential program. Students who complete a bachelor's degree at Stephens College are eligible to apply for a fellowship. To be eligible for a full fellowship (100% of tuition), students must attend Stephens College all four years of their degree. Transfer residential students will be eligible for a 25% discount for each year completed at Stephens College.
Please note that application is not a guarantee of acceptance. Stephens College reserves the right to limit the number of MBA fellowships awarded each year.
ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION CRITERIA
To be eligible for the fellowship, a student must meet all MBA admission requirements AND:
- Complete required foundation courses prior
to graduation
BUS 350: Foundations of Finance
ACC 220: Foundations of Managerial Accounting
ECO 202: Foundations of Microeconomics
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.4
APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1:
A student interested in the MBA fellowship must first apply to the MBA program and be accepted. Documents required for application to the MBA program are listed below.
- A graduate application to the MBA program
- $40 application fee
- Current resume
- Three letters of reference
- 300-500 word Statement of Purpose describing your academic and professional goals
- An official Stephens College transcript

Students will be notified of an acceptance decision within three weeks of receipt of all required application materials.
Step 2:
Upon notification of acceptance to the MBA program, submit a 300-500 word essay stating the reasons why you should be selected for a fellowship. The essay should include how you envision the MBA will help you in your career and why Stephens should select you for the fellowship honor.
This essay may be submitted via e-mail concurrently with the initial application to the MBA program.
APPLICATION DEADLINEThe priority deadline for fellowship applications is October 15, see Fellowship Terms and Conditions for further details. Applications will be accepted and considered after that date only if space permits.
SELECTION & ADMISSION PROCESSThe MBA Fellowship Selection Committee will schedule an interview with the student upon receipt and review of the essay required in Step 2 of the application process. Admission decisions will be made and applicants notified within 30 days from the date of interviews.
