" Designer Alphabet Soup: Designer Garments from A to Z"
Sept. 15-Oct. 14
Designer garments from the 1920s to present day will be on display. Featured designers will include Adrian, Geoffrey Beene, Gucci, Schaparelli, Paul Poiret and Pucci. Items range from tailored suits and evening dresses to ’80s colorful designs and today's shoe styles.

“My Other Skin: A Collection of Coats and Wraps from the Late 19th and 20th Centuries”
Feb. 2-March 20
An array of coats, jackets, capes and muffs, and an extensive group of fur items, all dating from the late 19th and 20th centuries. Special tours can be scheduled for groups of five or more.

Special location: Basement of Lela Raney Wood Hall, Room B21 of the Costume Research Library's archives, 6 N. College Ave.
Historic garments from the early 18th century to the 1920s that have never been displayed to the public before. Self-guided tours through the hanging garments by decade (early 19th century to the 1970s) will be available. Shoes, hats and handbags will also be on display from the early 1800s to today. All items will be shown as they are archived in the collection. A total of more than 2,000 items to see!
