Residence Life Information

The Residence Life Staff
The Residence Life staff consists of a full-time Director, three Graduate Residents, one resident Director for each building, and one Resident Assistant for each floor. Our goal is to make your life outside the classroom as rich and rewarding as possible. You will see many programs and activities around campus that are sponsored by the Residence Life department, and we would like to take this opportunity to invite each of you to participate!
Safety in the Residence Halls
You will have access to campus security 24 hours a day (on-campus extension 4299 or 573-876-7299). If you feel uncomfortable walking alone after dark, security officers are available to escort you on campus. In addition, during the evening hours, there will be a Resident Assistant/Director and a professional staff member on call. To prevent loss of personal belongings, be sure to lock your room any time you leave.
- To report an incident, you may submit this online form: Residential Life Incident Report.
If you lose your key(s), please be sure to report it to the Residence Life office IMMEDIATELY (on-campus extension 4212) so that no uninvited persons can enter your building/room!
For safety reasons, we ask that you sign in all guests (male and female) at the front desk. You may have as many as three guests stay at any one time; they may stay for three days/two nights without special permission. In addition to signing in your guests, they must be escorted at all times while in the building.

Hall Policies
All residence hall policies can be found in the Residence Hall Handbook. In addition, these policies will also be covered in the first mandatory hall meeting. Please be sure to ask a staff member if you have questions about any of the policies!
