"It is a great honor to be recruited. When I found out I was being considered to play sports at Stephens I was so excited. Then coach called and told me I had made the team. I was overjoyed to be apart of the athletics at Stephens. I knew that being apart of the team was going to be a huge commitment but I was ready and really looking forward to it.
It means that I am able to keep playing sports out of high school. When I graduated I thought that I was done playing volleyball and softball, but Stephens changed my mind. They showed me that it was still possible that I could join a new team that would help me learn and share what I have learned with all the members of the team.
I am very excited because softball is my first love and to be able to play it at a college level is beyond my wildest dream. To be able to start a new chapter for Stephens softball is a great honor and challenge to play my best. It will be hard work but with all the new team players I know that we can have a great team and build an amazing program for Stephens."
