STEPHENS STARS SIGN ANGEL LEE
AS NAIA BASKETBALL RECRUIT FOR 2006-2007

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Stephens College announces the signing of Angel Lee, a transfer student from North Central Missouri College, for the 2006-2007 basketball season. Lee, a 5’8” guard/forward, signed in mid-June on the Stephens College campus.

During college play, Lee started every game as a sophomore, averaging eight points and five rebounds per game. At Glasgow High School, Lee started for two seasons and averaged 15.6 points, four rebounds and four assists per game. Her excellence on the high school basketball court brought her the following awards: All-District 1st Team, All-Conference 1st Team, KRES All Star and Player of the Week, KMZU Dream Team, and Columbia Daily Tribune All-Region Team.

“Angel has a great deal of experience and can play multiple positions,” said Dane Pavlovich, Stephens College head basketball coach and associate athletic director. “She possesses a very complete game that will benefit our program greatly.”
