STEPHENS COLLEGE SIGNS BECCA WHITE AS NAIA BASKETBALL RECRUIT FOR 2010
COLUMBIA , Mo. – Stephens College announces the signing of Becca White, a senior at Novinger High School in Novinger, Mo., for the 2010-2011 season. White signed her letter of intent on March 23, 2010, at Novinger High School. White earned the following awards during her high school career:
High School Basketball Honors:
- Honorable Mention All Conference
- Second Team All Conference
- Kirksville Daily Express Honorable Mention All Area
- Kirksville Daily Express Athlete of the Week
Senior Year High School Basketball Statistics and Awards:
- 9.4 points per game
- 2.7 rebounds per game
- 2.2 assists per game
- 1.9 steals per game
“Becca had an extremely successful high school career,” says Dane Pavlovich, Stephens College head basketball coach and associate athletic director. “She is a very good shooter and she is an aggressive defender. She will have a successful career both athletically and academically at Stephens.”
Stephens offers National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) sports teams in basketball, cross country, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball. The College began play in the American Midwest Conference in Fall 2008.
