STEPHENS STARS SIGN LAUREN EYE AS NAIA BASKETBALL RECRUIT FOR 2007-2008
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Stephens College announces the signing of Lauren Eye, a senior at Montrose High School in Montrose, Mo., for the 2007-2008 basketball season. Eye, a 5’8” guard, signed her letter of intent on Tuesday, May 1, 2007. Stephens also offers NAIA sports teams in cross country, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball.
High School Awards:
- Freshman Year: All Conference 2nd team, All Lakeland Tournament Team
- Sophomore Year: All Area 1st Team, All Conference 1st Team, All Lakeland Tournament Team, All Osceola Tournament Team.
- Junior Year: All Area 1st Team, All Conference 1st Team (South Division MVP), All Lakeland Tournament Team, All Osceola Tournament Team, 1,000 Points Club
- Senior Year: All State, All District 12, Missouri All District, All Area 1st Team, All Conference 1st Team, All Lakeland Tournament Team, All Osceola Tournament Team, 1,500 Points Club, Lion’s Club All-Star, MBCA All-Star

“Lauren had a phenomenal high school career,” says Dane Pavlovich, Stephens College head basketball coach. “She has all the tools and skills to have the same caliber career here at Stephens. She is a great addition to the basketball program.”
