Visiting the Stephens College Campus

The Stephens College Office of Admissions Summer Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Please call (800) 876-7207 or complete an online registration form.

Visit Opportunities
You may schedule an individual visit, attend one of our special preview events or join us during one of our Open Saturdays.

Individual Visits
We invite you to visit Stephens while classes are in session. Please call us to discuss your visit. This allows us to customize your experience on campus and to make the most of your visit.

On average, an individual campus visit takes two hours (Please consider as you arrange your arrival/departure times).  Individual campus visits during our summer hours can be scheduled for anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.  The visit includes a tour of campus, a meeting with Financial Aid, and time to speak with an Admissions Counselor.

Preview Events
Preview events highlight for students everyday life at Stephens College. During these visits, students and their families engage in planned activities, including a campus tour, class sessions, student/parent panels, program presentations, admission and financial aid sessions, and overnight stays. Preview Days are a great opportunity to meet future classmates!

Note: Registration is available no more than 60 days in advance.

 

Saturday Visits
We know how busy you are during the week. Because a campus visit is essential to making your college choice, the admission office is open on the following Saturdays during the academic year. During a Saturday Visit, student and their families will receive a tour of campus, and an admissions and financial aid session; and have the opportunity to eat lunch with faculty. Saturday visits begin with check-in at 9:30 a.m. and last until 1 p.m.

Rewards of a Campus Visit
When you visit the Stephens campus, the Office of Admissions will help offset some of your travel expenses by...

...waiving the $25 application fee.

...reimbursing you for airfare. If you fly in for a visit, you'll be awarded a voucher worth half the cost of your airline coach ticket (up to $300) to be applied toward your first Stephens tuition payment.

...reimbursing you for round-trip van fare on Mo-X from St. Louis or Kansas City. This immediate reimbursement is not contingent upon your enrolling at Stephens.

Getting here from the North and South
Take Highway 63 to the Broadway exit. Travel west on Broadway approximately two miles to the Stephens campus. Lela Raney Wood Hall is located at the northeast corner of Broadway and College Avenue. Visitor parking is available on the north side of Lela Raney Wood Hall. The Office of Admissions is located on the second floor.

Getting here from the East and West
Take Interstate 70 to Highway 63, the Jefferson City exit. Travel south on Highway 63 to the Broadway exit. Travel west on Broadway approximately two miles to the Stephens campus. Lela Raney Wood Hall is located at the northeast corner of Broadway and College Avenue. Visitor parking is available on the north side of Lela Raney Wood Hall. The Office of Admissions is located on the second floor.
