Our Approach
We are Stephens College. We are a small, private institution that takes seriously the process of admitting women scholars. If you have a passion for one of our areas of study (be it pre-med, therapeutic riding, theatrical costume design or any of our specialized majors) and appreciate individualized attention and professional development, then this may be a perfect fit for you.
That’s what this application process is designed to figure out. We take a personal, holistic approach to the admissions procedures because we’re striving to admit not only students who have academic potential (that would be reflected in a transcript or test score), but ones who also possess personal qualities recognizable through recommendations and interviews.
So, are you Stephens material? Find out! We accept applications throughout the year on a rolling basis (with certain priorities given to students who apply early). You do not need to submit a separate application to be considered for scholarships and other financial aid offered through Stephens. Your application materials will be used to determine your eligibility.
