B.S. IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Whether you are interested in a general business education or
have a distinct field in mind, the Stephens Entrepreneurship
and Business Management program will prepare you for the real
world. You will gain a solid background for entrepreneurial
pursuits, as well as managerial positions, through a comprehensive
liberal arts education in problem solving and critical and creative
thinking. For a capstone project, you will create a fully developed
business plan reviewed by a panel of local experts. Upon graduation,
you will enter the business world confidently equipped with
the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.
B.S. IN ACCOUNTING
Learn the intricacies of accounting at Stephens and through
a program offered in partnership with the School of Accountancy
at the University of Missouri–Columbia. Available to qualified
students, the program lets you explore industrial accounting,
public accounting, government and education sectors. After benefiting
from Stephens’ small class sizes and attentive faculty,
you’ll earn a Stephens degree and may apply to the M.Acc.
Program at the University. With a master’s degree, you
will be well-prepared to sit for either the Certified Management
Accountant (C.M.A.) or the Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.)
exam.
B.S. IN MARKETING: PUBLIC
RELATIONS AND ADVERTISING
You will be ready for a career in business and agency integrated
marketing communications, combining
training in written, oral and visual communication. Benefit
from several opportunities to gain hands-on experience in your
area of interest. Be selected to join the College’s student-staffed
marketing consulting firm that assists clients on advertising,
events, promotion and design projects, and work with real clients
to develop a comprehensive marketing plan as part of your senior
capstone project. Courses include: Advertising, Case Studies
in Public Relations and Special Event Management.
MASTER'S
"PLUS ONE" PROGRAM
Through our “Plus One” master’s program, students
may earn a bachelor’s degree followed by an M.B.A. in
as little as one additional year. Certain requirements apply.*
Our Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program offers
a blend of online learning with traditional classroom instruction.
Students enjoy the flexibility of online coursework as they
enhance their learning through classroom interaction in the
evening or during an on-campus seminar. You can choose your
emphasis area based on your interests and career goals.
*Students who enroll in Fall 2009
or later are eligible for this accelerated program. Students
who enrolled in Fall 2008 or earlier may apply for a tuition-paid
M.B.A. fellowship.

FACULTY
Stephens professors hold advanced business degrees and have years of teaching and professional experience in business administration and management roles. Faculty members include an experienced marketing consultant, a professor with 15 years in corporate finance, and one with experience in retail marketing and industrial manufacturing.
