First-Year Scholarships + Awards
Stephens College awards more than $5 million in tuition scholarships yearly, with nearly all our students receiving a tuition scholarship.
Upon acceptance to our undergraduate residential college, you will be automatically considered for merit-based tuition scholarships.
Institutional Scholarships
The following tuition scholarships are offered in Fall 2024/Spring 2024. Scholarship offerings are subject to change for students entering in Fall 2025/Spring 2026.
Athletic Scholarships
Player Signing Agreements are based on player eligibility requirements by sport, by roster level and are inclusive of Stephens College merit scholarships. These are separate agreements managed by the Stars Athletics Program at Stephens College.
Financial Aid Bonuses
We are pleased to offer the following financial aid bonuses for students entering in 2024/2025.
FAFSA Incentive
File your Free Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have it sent to Stephens College (code 002512) for a renewable $1,000 financial aid bonus.
Early Application Completion Award
Complete your application for admission by February 1 and receive a renewable $1,000 financial aid bonus.
Stephens Scholars Award
Achieve a 3.5 or higher high school GPA and receive a renewable $1,000 financial aid bonus.

First-Year Student Scholarship Eligibility
- Must be classified as First Time in College (FTIC), having earned fewer than 10 college credits after high school graduation.
- Must be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more per semester).
- No scholarships can ever total more than tuition (no refund checks).
- Renewable awards are for a maximum of 8 semesters or as noted.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA is required to maintain and renew tuition awards.
- International students are eligible for all institutional merit or athletics awards.
- Academic Merit Tuition Scholarships are determined upon acceptance.
- All Tuition Awards and Scholarships are per year, to be divided and applied to the fall/spring or fall/spring/summer terms (depending on program structure).
- First-Year Tuition Awards will be prorated 50% if a student begins in the spring semester.
- Some tuition scholarships come with a requirement to live on campus.
