B.S. IN EQUESTRIAN STUDIES
Be prepared to work professionally at equestrian-related businesses, riding facilities and therapeutic riding centers. You’ll care for and ride the College’s horses at the Stephens Equestrian Center close to campus.

Focus your study in Equestrian Business Management, Equestrian Assisted Therapies or Equestrian Education. Riding courses are a central requirement of the program. You’ll become a diverse rider by taking classes in Saddleseat, Hunter/Jumpers, Western, Driving and Reining.

B.S. IN EQUESTRIAN SCIENCE
Through Stephens’ hands-on approach, you’ll get experience working with animals necessary for success in a veterinary program. The program works closely with the nearby University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and meets many of its entrance requirements.

MINORS
The Equestrian department offers minors in EQUESTRIAN STUDIES and ANIMAL SCIENCE (through a partnership with the nearby University of Missouri–Columbia). Click here for a full list of minors.
