Students studying education at Stephens begin observing and working in real classroom settings their freshman year. The Stephens College Children’s School, an on-campus lab school, allows undergraduates to work alongside master-level teachers in both pre-school and elementary classrooms. By junior year, students prepare and deliver their own lesson plans. We also provide an accelerated program for those who want to earn their bachelor’s degree in three years.

Stephens students can opt to become certified to teach at both the pre-K and elementary levels.
