Summer Film Institute

In May 2012, Stephens College digital film students participated in the biannual Summer Film Institute. Directed by Stephens College faculty member Chase Thompson, the student crew produced, shot, and edited “Threshold” (Fargo Film Festival 2013).  During this intense 10-day institute, students rotate through each position on set to help them discover the area of filmmaking they are most excited about.  Some of the areas include camera operation, directing, audio engineering, lighting and art direction.
