Join Stephens College for the first annual Fem Film, a women’s film symposium featuring panel discussions, workshops and screenings by prominent women film directors. The weekend will focus on increasing the number of women in the director’s chair. According to the Director’s Guild of America, women directed only 12% of last year’s television programs.

Stephens College, the only all-women’s school in America with a producing film major, seeks to lead the way in growing more female directors.

Hosted in collaboration with the University of Missouri Women’s and Gender Studies department.
