Flexibility and Quality
Flexibility and quality are the hallmarks of the Stephens College Continuing Studies Program, and our students benefit from a variety of course options that allow students to complete courses off campus at their own pace, with close guidance and support from instructors. In addition to these distance learning courses, Stephens also offers the following credit options, all of which can be combined with other options to earn a degree:
  • Internet-based courses designed to connect faculty and students from different locations
  • Prior credit for previous college experience or professional training
  • Standard examination credit to test knowledge in a specific area

At Stephens, working adult students can complete a degree on a part-time basis.

Our Faculty
Stephens College students receive quality instruction and guidance from faculty and staff who understand each student's professional and personal goals. Just like our traditional, residential students, continuing studies students benefit from the quality and experience of Stephens' regular faculty, who provide cutting-edge instruction. Most faculty have achieved the highest degree attainable in their field and combine career and academic experience to enrich their contributions to students' education.
