About Referrals
The SSC provides reasonable accommodations for students who declare and document disabilities. Learning disabilities must be validated by a licensed psychologist or other related professional. Although the SSC does not provide training in compensatory techniques, the center can provide a list of private off-campus services. Costs for private services are embraced by the student.

Stephens College Student Success Center
The Student Success Center (SSC, formerly known as ARC) provides free academic support to Stephens College undergraduate students. The center’s services include writing assistance, tutoring, and help with study skills. Throughout the semester, tutors also present a series of workshops on academic topics. The SSC is located in Stamper Commons, with access to campus computers, printing, wireless Internet, and general study space. Appointments or walk-ins are welcome.
